The Other Portland
Portland, Maine that is! Nice rides, swims, confusing streets and so much good food.
Rode to Crescent Beach for an early evening swim in the cold, fresh ocean…The next day, we followed this map and got lost all along the way- had to carry our bikes through the woods.
The fog at the Back Cove looked amazing that morning!
So many nice trails, marked bike lanes, signs for cyclists and giant...

Rockaway Raleigh Twenty
My friend Caroline sent me these photos of her beautiful 1973 Raleigh Twenty that lives with her in the Rockaways. Mike is in the background with his hand-made cedar wood alaia surfboard. These two appreciate craftsmanship and quality!
She replaced the original “Dare” handlebar grips with Rivendell cork ones and the original Brooks saddle with a Brooks B67S and the brake...

Quebec Bike Trip
Here are some photos from our short bike trip through Quebec’s Eastern Townships, we mostly followed the protected network called La Route Verte.
